I've had several Pilates trainers over the years and Britta is so, so much better than anyone I have ever worked with. Not only is she knowledgeable and experienced, she's creative and fun. You will keep an appointment with her even when you feel like crap and don't want to work out. You know, for certain, that you will feel better leaving than you did before you got there. She's fun, you still work hard, and she's encouraging (without being a pushover.) You will see results fast. Don't delay, just GO! Believe me, I'm serious, you can't do any better. I've been training with her for years. She's just simply the best, and, you'll have some fun.

After doing Pilates on and off at various locations over the years, I can firmly say that my experience with Britta goes above and beyond. First of all, her prices are fair and competitive, which is amazing for a private studio. Secondly, Britta is incredibly experienced in Pilates and surrounding fields. She very carefully tailors routines to each client, and combines classical Pilates and more contemporary exercises when appropriate or desired. She listens to your goals and really works with you to get you there. I've been going twice a week for the past 3 months and have already seen changes in my body--and others have noticed too! I have been working out in the gym with weights and cardio for 35 years, I was skeptical of any other form of exercise until I was introduced to Pilates with Britta. My posture, abs and stamina have improved 100%. I'm finally standing up straight which is no small feat after 25 years of rock and roll! I came to Britta with lower back problems and through our work together I've learned what proper posture and breathing can do for your overall well being. Britta has changed my body!!! I have muscles that I never had before and found a love for Pilates. It has increased our flexibility 10 fold and the exercises are perfectly challenging and ever evolving. My boyfriend and I do duo lessons with Britta at least once or twice or week for the past 6 months and we both look forward to it! Britta is super cool and intuits exactly what we need. Britta is a fantastic Pilates instructor. I started Pilates about 5 years ago and I have seen dramatic improvements in my strength, coordination, and muscle tone. Britta keeps me motivated and interested so I don't feel bored. Each time I make progress she adds a new challenge. I tried Pilates tapes on my own in the past, but I wasn't sure if I was doing the techniques right. Britta balances protective instructions with supportive encouragement. I never had a regular exercise habit until I was over 40 years old! That ended 10 years ago when I started to work with Britta. Believe me, I'm the last person to advocate anything to do with exercise, but I've enjoyed my twice a week sessions, even though it's hard work. I had dreaded trying Pilates again because of a short but bad experience with another instructor. I ended up going to Britta for months and will go back soon. For me, she is the perfect combination of toughness , humor and kindness as an instructor. She doesn't let me quit doing a routine no matter how much I whine, but when my back was feeling a bit sore, she would alter the routine to avoid injury. Many instructors are not like that, and they either are like drill sergeants, causing injury, or don't know how to motivate you, vary the routines to eliminate boredom, or let you give up too soon. I got in great shape and actually looked forward to my appointments. I totally recommend her!

1. Do you teach group classes?
I do not teach group classes in person. I teach private one on one sessions or duets.
2. What should I wear?
Comfortable form fitting workout clothes. I like to be able to see the position and posture of the body. Also, grippy socks are great but not required.
Studio Policy's to keep in mind.
1. No Fragrances, perfumes or scented lotions please. It is a shared space and some people have allergies.
2. There is a 12 hour cancellation policy.
3. Proof of vaccination against Covid 19 required. Masking still required until numbers lower in Los Angeles county.
